Anything worth doing usually comes with it’s fair share of trials and hard work. Being in a band or starting a record label is no exception. (especially these days.) The woes of the music industry are well documented, and we don’t really need to go into that. What I do want to go into is that in the midst of all those trials and hard work, every once in a while, we get a victory. A moment that helps affirm what we are doing. A moment that lets us know that we are making an impact. A moment that encourages us to press on! Pioneer going #1 with their single Treason was one of those moments.
This is a big step for our young label and for the band! In a little over a month Pioneer has given themselves, and Slospeak our first #1 single. Although our idea of success as a label is not based around how many #1′s we can get, this is proof that we are having an impact on people, and that is exciting! I am super stoked to see what God has in store for Slospeak and our artist! This is just the beginning!
